Job Description
This role is key in ensuring the shipments are prepared efficiently and delivered to our customers in the most economical means possible. In this role you will take full ownership of dispatching shipments and ensure all parties are fully informed, enter accurate data to prepare consignments for shipment and prepare and distribute shipping documents. A part of this role will also involve in managing front desk and JAFZA related documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring proper documentation and smooth shipping process. This involves coordination with Factories, Inside Sales Team and Customers
- Take ownership of dispatching shipments and ensure all parties involved are well informed on the shipment status
- Prepare and distribute shipping documents – either manual or ERP generated considering specific requirements from Customers / Region
- Liaise with external agencies like Freight forwarders, Customs authorities and Clearing agents
- Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure proper flow of data and file management related to shipments and customs reconciliation
- Book shipments and collections wherever is required
- Raise Goods in Receipt Note in ERP (AX 2009) once the shipment is completed
- Front office administration
- Admin support in Freezone related documentation through Turkey Trade Portal
- Experience in import and export shipments with payment terms like Letter of Credit & various delivery terms as per latest INCOTERM
Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
- Diploma with 3 years’ experience in a similar role (Previous shipping / despatch /import/ export experience).
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office and preferably MRP / consigning systems / methodology.
- Awareness of the commercial aspects of export procedures and conditions.
- Experience in imports and exports shipment
- Previous experience with Freezone & Mainland shipping, proficiency in Tirkey Customs and Authority Rules, Regulations and Requirement.
- Awareness of payment terms
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS
- Fluent English
