This is a pivotal role within the IT department where you will take the helm with our IT environments; designing, building and maintaining them. On offer is the chance to have real influence in driving how Rotork tackles crucial issues in the IT space.

Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will work as part of a sizeable team to support the customer base and achieve other business objectives.

As an Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on both virtual and physical networking, you will collaborate with architects and project managers to help design and implement comprehensive network solutions that meet business requirements. Your responsibilities will include managing the provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of both physical and virtual network infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and security across all network layers. Additionally, you'll create and maintain detailed technical documentation, provide 3rd line support, and lead network-related infrastructure projects. 

The ideal candidate will have expertise in both physical and virtual networking, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills

Experience Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of IT Infrastructure, mainly physical infrastructures like data centres or telephony but with an understanding of Azure
• Ability to produce accurate and concise technical documentation
• Experience of delivering IT incident and problem management activities
