Job Description

  • Experience in Valve automation.
  • Prepare and update drawings, 3D models and specifications (including details on dimensions and materials).
  • Prepare drawings through Solid works/Edge and AUTO CAD
  • Collaboratively deliver effective and fit for purpose solutions to customer needs - Understand the customer’s needs through effective questioning skills (using open and closed questions appropriately for best effect) and using ‘active listening’ to fully understand what the customer requires and what solutions to offer.
  • Provide technical product and application support for key Rotork products to provide the sales teams with technical support
  • Manage and oversee technical documents.
  • Ensure documents are properly stored and backed up and any retention policies are followed.
  • Able to speak with the customer at a technical level and explain how the Rotork products will form part of their solution
  • Where appropriate, provide support to key internal and external stakeholders as required e.g. Sales, Service, Production, Buying and Quality Departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Product design or Industrial Engineering
  • Experience of 3D drawing (Solid works/Edge) and AUTO CAD
  • Experience of the Microsoft toolset for technical documentation.
