Job Description
This role is an 18 Month Fixed term contract, based in any of our European sites on a Hybrid basis.
This role is responsible for supporting the Global Operations Transition Manager to deliver the Operations Optimisation programme and in particular the migration of 20+ entities from legacy Operations systems to our global ERP system, D365, representing the areas of Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering and Production.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Execute Rotork Business Process System Assessments with the entities, in readiness for system implementation, develop GAP analysis detail and deliver & execute a programme to remove gaps prior to system deployment.
- Act as a point of contact for the D365 Implementation Programme and as the conduit between the programme and the Operations Function for the Logistics & Warehouse functional area across EMEA
- Work with the Global process owners, business analysts and Enterprise Architects to maintain and continuously improve operations processes based on best practice.
- Lead Global Factory & Subsidiary leadership groups and SMEs through change management to adopt the core D365 operations solution.
- Drive through process standardisation, optimisation & best practice on each site.
- Prepare the content for any change management workshops, taking users through the key areas of change, drawing out high level discussion on potential changes between as “is” and “to be”.
This role would be suited to an individual with broad operations experience from an engineering/manufacturing organisation, who wants to make a big difference shaping and guiding a FTSE 250 organisation, on a significant global D365 transformation programme.
Qualifications
Experience requirements
- Business process development experience in one or more business areas of Logistics/Supply Chain/Manufacturing/Production
- Proficient level of knowledge and experience of key Operations processes within a manufacturing/lean supply chain.
- Comfort working in a high-pressure environment, in agile and dynamic way to tackle unexpected & emerging issues.
- Experience working on a substantial change project or upgrade of an ERP system
The successful candidate
- Experience managing senior internal & external stakeholders to provide information, drive decisions and resolve issues.
- Demonstrable track record, and sufficient gravitas and experience, to deliver positive, high impact business outcomes and change.
- Experience of D365 is highly advantageous
