Rose Grind Solutions Ltd. is a niche IT Recruitment agency, specializing in industry sectors like: Big Data, Machine Learning, Data Science and Cyber Security. Our clients are both large corporations, as well as medium sized businesses based in London, Oslo and Dubai. It is our belief that international recruitment is a fast paced global process which is not restricted by borders.

Our client specializes in coastal and oceanographic engineering research in the marine environment. They are engaged in building predictive modeling of different processes in the ocean environment like – waves, currents and tides. The company also studies other aspects like climate and evaluates the quality of the shore coastline. Their ongoing projects are fully funded by the Inter-American Development Bank and the United Nations Development Program. Our client has 20 employees at the moment and is looking to hire a talented IT Project Manager (Remote Sensing) to lead their team.

The position is full-time and on-site at their office in Las Palmas, Spain. There is NO option for remote work. Our client offers Work Visa Sponsorship.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
- 2 years of professional experience in IT Project Management/Resource planning;
- Bachelor’s Degree in either: Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Telecommunications, Environmental Science or Geoinformatics;
- SCRUM/Agile certification;
- Knowledge in technologies like: OpenMP API, OpenCL, OpenCV or CUDA;
- Programming experience in either: C/C++, Python, Java, MATLAB, Shell script or Machine Learning;
- Knowledge in either: Remote Sensing, Digital Image Processing tools or GIS.

Qualifications

Requirements:
- 2 years of professional experience in Project Management/Resource planning;
- Bachelor’s Degree in either: Mathematics, Physics, Telecommunications, Environmental Science, Geoinformatics or Computer Science;
- Knowledge in technologies like: OpenMP API, OpenCL, OpenCV or CUDA;
- Programming experience in either: C/C++, Python, Java, MATLAB or Shell script;
- Knowledge in either: Remote Sensing, Digital Image Processing tools or GIS.

Additional Information

Our client offers:

-    Monthly salary between 2500 – 3350 EUR/gross. This type of salary is 120% higher than the average monthly salary for Spain;
-    Work Visa that will enable you to live and be employed at Las Palmas, Spain;
-    Assistance in finding suitable accommodation upon arrival. You will have to cover your own rent (rents are cheap and vary between 400 and 700 EUR per month);
-    Travel ticket to Las Palmas will be provided at the beginning of the agreement;
-    23 days annual leave, in addition there are 14 national/regional holidays celebrated (non-working);
-    Yearly team building events;
