We are looking to hire a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of various programs and projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects according to deadlines and within budget. This role will ensure resource availability, coordinate efforts across departments, and engage with external stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.

Job Description

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects across various sectors.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and KPIs in collaboration with senior management.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage relationships with clients, partners, community leaders, and government stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, reporting requirements, and accountability standards.
  • Document project processes, lessons learned, and success stories to support organizational learning.
  • Work with M&E teams to assess project impact and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Plan sustainability and exit strategies for projects to ensure long-term impact.
  • Mentor project staff, interns, or junior officers assigned to project implementation.
  • Organize regular meetings to align teams on project progress and address potential risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience managing projects, preferably in a development or consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies
  • Experience managing donor-funded or grant-based projects is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in project management software
