Job Description

Overview: As an Entry-Level Architect, you will play a vital role in assisting the architectural team in the design and development of various construction projects. This entry-level position provides you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the architectural field, working under the guidance of more experienced architects and project managers. Your responsibilities will span across different phases of a project, from initial concept development to construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design Support:

    • Assist in the creation of architectural drawings, renderings, and models using software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other design programs.
    • Collaborate with senior architects to develop and refine design concepts based on client requirements, project specifications, and regulatory standards.
  2. Project Coordination:

    • Work closely with project managers to organize and coordinate project activities.
    • Support the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
  3. Documentation:

    • Contribute to the production of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and other relevant documentation.
    • Assist in the review and modification of design documents based on feedback from internal teams and clients.
  4. Site Visits:

    • Participate in site visits to gather information and understand site conditions.
    • Collaborate with senior architects during site analysis and feasibility studies.
  5. Code Compliance:

    • Familiarize yourself with local building codes and regulations.
    • Assist in ensuring that design plans adhere to all relevant codes and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Strong proficiency in architectural software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
  • Knowledge of basic construction techniques and materials.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Eagerness to learn and a strong commitment to professional development.
