Job Description
Purpose
To ensure engineering work is being completed efficiently, with high quality and in time, in order to take care of a safe execution and a satisfied customer.
Key Responsibilities and key results area's
- Attend Project (Kick Off) meetings.
- Prepare documents for execution of projects independently (e.g., (transport) manuals, calculations, task risk analysis, drawings) and assist with client and MWS interface.
- In case required support the execution of projects on site.
- Report and keep track on project status and register change hours (changes outside scope of project) during a project.
- Provide input in favor of a project evaluation.
- Receive feedback on practicality of the operations and in case required register the lessons learned.
- Prepare, improve, and share in-house developed tools and spreadsheets.
- Check and approve Engineering documents.
- Assist on supporting documents (calculations, drawings, class documentation) for the involved departments.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned by manager or supervisor.
Qualifications
- Higher Vocational Education (Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Technology) or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to a variety of conditions at construction job sites such as fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM including a one-hour lunch break. Days and hours of work may be assigned per project. This position is eligible for remote work up to 50% of the time.
Travel
Travel for this position is required up to 50% of the time based on project assignment.
