Roll Group operates globally, with a focus on the Middle East, North America and Asia. This position is at the office in the Middle East, Abu Dhabi.

Position         

The Head of Finance is responsible for company’s long-term financial health and growth, maximizing the return on financial assets by implementing and when necessary, establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. In addition, you will manage the finance department and oversees cost control, general accounting, cash collections and risk management. Part of the responsibilities for the Head of Finance are taking care of local tax affairs and a number of legal aspects for the company including but not limited to insurances.

In this roll you are expected to work proactively and with a hands-on mentality to oversee multiple discipline for the company and improve and develop the Finance department worldwide.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze financial and business performance and advise regional and global management accordingly 
  • Contribute to business development & strategy to increase the company and region’s profitability 
  • Provide financial advice in complex or high value commercial proposals 
  • Represent the company’s financial interest with banks, auditors and tax authorities 
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies as well as local laws and regulations 
  • Provide personal guidance, instructions, coaching and management of the regional financial department  

Requirements for success

We are looking for a person who:

  • Has got a bachelor’s degree.
  • Has got a great level of accuracy and eye for detail.
  • Is structured and flexible.
  • Has got great analytical skills.
  • Has several years of experience in an international company as for example Senior Controller.
