Job Description

Classification: Nonexempt

Immediate Supervisor: Finance Director

Functional Relationships: AP/AR Administrator, Assistant Controller, Operations team

Summary/Objective

The assistant financial controller is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial accounting activities within Roll-Lift USA, Inc. and reports directly to the Finance Director. The successful candidate for this position will have previous experience working in a finance, accounting, and/or audit role.

Essential Functions

1.    General ledger accounting (payroll, bank journals, fixed assets, accruals, etc.)

2.    Intercompany billing

3.    Cash management and cash flow forecasting

4.    Oversee and evaluate company expenditures

5.    Timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting

6.    Budgeting and forecasting

7.    Project control activities (reporting, billing, project close out)

8.    Identify and implement process improvements

9.    Assist with IT matters

 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM including a one-hour lunch break.

 

Travel

Travel for this position is not required.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other relevant field

3-5 years previous financial control or audit experience

CPA will be considered a plus

 

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
