OVERAL PURPOSE

In this role you will play a key role in all activities within the health and safety department. Your role will cover duties such as safety inspections, internal auditing, compliance reviews as well as maintaining health and safety systems to ensure standards are constantly adhered to.

THE ROLE 

  • Provide general support and assistance to the SHE-Q team.
  • Assist and advice personnel on SHE-Q matters
  • Assist in incident / accident investigation, documentation and reporting
  • Provide and assist in the training of staff in all aspects of SHE-Q
  • Assist in internal office audits and support third party audits
  • Support in the development of safety alerts, safe systems of work and risk assessments
  • Compile and collate data for reporting purposes
  • Ensure all documentation of Company Management System complies with the SHE-Q format.
  • Effectively manage SHE-Q related in and external correspondence 
  • Provide essential support to ensure the expedient closure of all SHE-Q activities and corrective actions
  • Assist with preparing tender and SHE-Q project plans

Qualifications

YOUR PROFILE

  • Competent to effectively interact with all levels of the on- and offshore organization.
  • Excellent ICT skills with demonstrable experience in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Needs to be attentive to detail, thorough, tenacious, self-motivated and self-disciplined
  • A team player yet able to focus and concentrate on own personal tasks
  • Be able to demonstrate a keen interest in Health and Safety, preferably with previous experience in this area
  • This role would be beneficial to someone working towards or just completed a Health and Safety qualification (Secondary Vocational Safety Education, Nebosh Certificate or similar)
  • Good knowledge of the English and Dutch language in word and writing
