We are looking for an HR Freelancer Contract Management Expert to create, review, and negotiate agreements between our company and our external workforce (contractors, freelancers, and senior advisers). In this role, you will bridge Human Resources, Legal, and Procurement to ensure compliant, efficient, and risk-mitigated hiring across different countries and jurisdictions.
Job Description
- Contract Drafting & Tailoring: With AI support, draft, review, and tailor contracts for freelancers and independent contractors.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure contracts comply with applicable local labor laws, as well as corporate rules and regulations.
- Communication: Communicate with freelancers and suppliers regarding contracts through to signature.
- Onboarding & Lifecycle Administration: Manage the freelancer lifecycle, including onboarding, record maintenance, and offboarding in HR systems.
- Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Legal, Tax and business stakeholders to support contracting needs.
- Process Improvement: Develop and update AI-based contract templates, policies, and workflows to improve efficiency.
- Data Maintenance: Maintain an accurate, up-to-date record of active, pending, and former freelancers.
Qualifications
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to review complex and detailed legal documents.
- Legal Knowledge: Solid understanding of contract law, particularly in relation to independent contractor status.
- AI and Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AI-driven contract management systems (such as Legora) and the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English skills for negotiating with freelancers and communicating with internal teams.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple contracts across different jurisdictions simultaneously.
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
- Work Experience: At least 4 years of experience in an HR or legal department, preferably in consulting or another international environment, with exposure to managing international contracts.
