Job Description
You will develop and implement tailored strategies and business models in a dynamic international project environment and support our clients to master their challenges. As a Project Manager, you will assume responsibility for one or more projects or lead streams in larger programs and actively participate in business development and acquisition approaches. You directly interact with clients at CXO and management level and guide project teams. From the start, you are considered an entrepreneur in our company. We encourage you to show initiative, think creatively and take responsibility.
The job includes:
- Developing market and growth strategies, optimizing organizational structures and support strategic performance improvement programs, from strategic design to implementation.
- Being a key pillar in our organization and important interface to our clients. while being responsible for project delivery and team guidance.
- Working with our clients (leading global retail and consumer groups across the region), from junior associates to senior stakeholder groups.
- Finalizing and presenting deliverables to the client.
- Mentoring, guiding, coaching and sharing consumer and retail subject matter knowledge with colleagues and wider business.
- Shaping and retaining excellent working relationships with our clients to ensure that project scope is met bringing steady and constant quality in all outputs.
Qualifications
- We are looking for talents between 8-10 years of experience in Consumer Goods & Retail (CGR) space from top tier strategy & management consulting firms or relevant industry positions with significant prior experience in consulting.
- Proven experience in one or several of the following CGR functions: merchandising, brand strategy, marketing, supply chain, store development & operations, sales, omnichannel operations and e-commerce.
- Outstanding academic credentials for both undergraduate and graduate coursework. MBA from a top-tier academic institution and experience in the international arena is preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent English and Chinese (Mandarin) skills. Knowledge of another language is a plus.
- Impressive analytical and conceptual skills and experience with leading work streams.
- Strong sense of entrepreneurship and appetite for business development.
