You'll collaborate with our Technical Service and Engineering teams to trouble-shoot incoming Zendesk tickets and provide solutions to dealers and field technicians via email and phone. In addition, your hands-on technical skills will be utilized for electronic/electrical repair.

Job Description
- Troubleshoot, test, and repair electronic circuits and audio components
- Interpret schematic diagrams and other engineering drawings and documents
- Use test fixtures to test and troubleshoot circuits, components, and PCA boards
- Use soldering and other hands-on techniques to repair detailed components on PCA boards
- Provide technical support to field technicians performing diagnosis and repair of complex electronic systems, including by phone and email
- Support installation of audio systems by offering written and verbal instructions and guidance
- Compose written technical instructions
- Document test results, parts usage, etc.
- Identify and follow through on projects/needed products and services
- Collaborate with other members of the team, including Technical Support, Engineering, and Production departments
Qualifications
- Minimum of Associate’s degree or equivalent in Electronics/Electrical Technology or related field
- Ability to read electronic schematic diagrams
- Knowledge of laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators
- Understanding of power supply circuits and circuit components
- Understanding of audio systems and digital/analog electronics
- Soldering experience for repair or installation of electronic components
- Customer relations and technical support skills, including excellent verbal and written communication via phone and email
- Collaborative team-oriented personality
Additional Information
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors in Electronics/Electrical Technology or related field
- Experience with electronic musical instruments and design
- Experience using or setting up audio/sound systems, amplifiers, speakers, etc.
- Microsoft Office/365 experience
