Job Description
- Process bi-weekly payrolls; special payrolls - salesman commissions, new hires, terminations, new accurately and on time
- Process all AP/AR transactions accurately and on time
- Manage accounting policies to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document accounting transactions
- Oversee for accuracy general ledger, cash forecasting, capital assets reconciliations, fixed asset activity, debt activity, account statement reconciliations, budgeting
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Meet ethical and legal financial accounting objectives
- Run month and year-end process for leadership and tax reporting
- Manage new hire paperwork and new hire processes for state and federal
- Other duties or functions as might be assigned by the Company
Qualifications
- BS/Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with Payroll, AP/AR
- Experience in developing finance statements, budgets, tracking budget expenses, credit card reconciliations
- Cost Accounting, inventory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and GAAP accounting principles, standards, laws and regulations
