Job Description
Responsible for entering purchase orders, monitoring and follow up of purchase
Maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, delivery, and inventories
Expedite the order and/or delivery of material to assure a timely and complete inventory to support production
General administrative functions
Ability to flex in other departments as needed
Qualifications
Good attendance and attention to detail
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Previous purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Good initiative and use of judgment
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
Strong analytical ability, critical thinking skills and detail-oriented
Good team player with integrity, interpersonal, organization and time management skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and able to perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties
