• Responsible for entering purchase orders, monitoring and follow up of purchase

• Maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, delivery, and inventories

• Expedite the order and/or delivery of material to assure a timely and complete inventory to support production

• General administrative functions

• Ability to flex in other departments as needed

• Good attendance and attention to detail

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

• Previous purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Good initiative and use of judgment

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities

• Strong analytical ability, critical thinking skills and detail-oriented

• Good team player with integrity, interpersonal, organization and time management skills

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and able to perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties
