As a Supply Planner, you ensure sufficient product availability at our suppliers, through translating our S&OP demand forecast into the best production plan possible, as well as optimization of the way of working with our suppliers to maximize profitability and availability.

You are part of the Supply Planning & Inventory team within the Supply Chain Department, working collaboratively within a broader category team. You report directly to a Manager Supply Planning and partner with all other end to end supply chain teams as well as our suppliers.

You are eager to achieve maximum availability and operational excellence, by using your analytical and pragmatic skills. Based on the forecast, inventory levels, logistics capacity, orders, and commercial calendar you ensure, that the right products are available, in the right amount, in the right quality, at the right place, at the right time. You are constantly looking for business process improvements and opportunities in the way of working with our suppliers to further improve our supply planning processes.

As Supply Planner you are responsible for ensuring optimal supply availability by managing production plans of supply categories based on data informed decisions. Besides this you are responsible for the collaboration and performance management of our suppliers.

Your key responsibilities are:

o Product Availability at Suppliers, ensure maximization of availability while always maintaining this within the agreed boundaries with suppliers;

o Production planning, planning productions with suppliers and managing inventory of the products within your category;

o Supplier Management, managing the Rituals supply chain – supplier relationships while always looking for improvements and continuity of the collaboration;

o Stakeholder Management, provide relevant and on time information towards our fulfilment teams and supply operations team, regarding available supply at suppliers.

o Informed Decision Making: monitor supply and demand signals, turn data into knowledge and understand variations across the supply network. Identify and execute solutions and enhance and automate the decision-making process to realise operational excellence within the value chain.

Qualifications

o You have a completed bachelor’s/master’s degree (Supply Chain, Business Economics, Business Administration or Logistics);

o You are fluent in English and/or Dutch (written and verbally);

o You have 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in a data driven Supply Chain / Omnichannel environment and knowledge of how to use planning tools / systems;

o You have experience and/or affinity with System Implementation and leading Change in Digital Transformation;

o You have substantial analytical and planning skills;

o You are a conceptual thinker and able to analyse different theoretical ideas, plan how to connect them to develop an alternative approach and come up with a solution to improve future results;

o You strive to be the ‘best in class’ in your discipline;

o You are a team player with strong communication, collaboration, active listening, and problem-solving skills;

o You are an analytical powerhouse, pragmatic, proactive, assertive, flexible and accurate, and eager to contribute to a growing organisation that can become increasingly effective and efficient, day by day, thanks to your input.
