Job Description
At Rituals, we’re looking for a Product Buyer – Gifting Collections to strengthen our Sourcing team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of sourcing and coordinating production for our Gifting category—think of our iconic gift sets, seasonal collections, and beautifully designed advent calendars.
While our Innovation team leads the creative concepting of new products, you are the one who brings those ideas to life by ensuring they are sourced, developed, and delivered with excellence. You’ll be the commercial mind behind the scenes, making sure every product is on time, on budget, and up to Rituals’ high standards.
This is a role where you’ll work closely with both internal teams and external suppliers to build great products, while growing your expertise in a dynamic, high-performing environment.
The Product Buyer role at Rituals is versatile and impactful. You’re not just negotiating prices—you’re building relationships, ensuring quality, and shaping the way our gifting products reach the customer. Together with the Category Buyer, you’ll manage supplier performance, support our sustainability goals, and make commercially sound decisions backed by data.
You will:
- Manage supplier relationships, including pricing, contracts, and performance tracking
- Execute the sourcing strategy in close collaboration with the Category Buyer
- Analyze data to support smart, value-driven decisions
- Ensure sourcing aligns with Rituals’ sustainability and quality principles
- Liaise with internal teams like Innovation, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and Impact
- Prepare and present sourcing business cases using the AQSCIS framework
- Support new product launches by securing materials and timelines
- Take the lead in cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Ensure full transparency and accuracy of product data and administrative tasks
In this role, you’ll be a vital part of the cross-functional team that turns ideas into real, meaningful products, without being responsible for the concept itself. You help ensure the products we envision can be produced and delivered the right way.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with a proactive mindset and a sharp commercial instinct. You’re a team player, a problem solver, and a confident negotiator. You’re also organized, data-driven, and eager to make a difference every day.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, procurement, supply chain, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in buying or procurement, ideally in cosmetics, packaging, or contract manufacturing
- A structured and analytical approach to decision-making
- Great project management and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- A team-oriented mindset, but with the confidence to challenge and influence
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
You bring energy, a hands-on attitude, and a healthy sense of curiosity. You’re eager to grow, open to feedback, and always looking for ways to improve.
At Rituals, we believe in the power of connection, and that’s why we work 80% from the office (typically four days a week) and 20% from home.
