In the coming years our global trajectory is to grow our employee base from 13.000 today to 25.000. As our Director of Talent Acquisition, a new position in the HR Management Team, you will elevate, drive and execute Rituals’ global recruitment and employer branding strategy.

Together with the teams, you will shape a next level candidate journey and ensure a state-of-the-art candidate experience that reflects the Rituals brand. Process-wise you help drive consistency, innovation, automation and standardization to our recruitment processes.

Your leadership and expertise will be crucial in attracting, selecting, and retaining top talent worldwide and giving an “on brand” experience to all.

If you have a passion for high-volume, multi-site, innovative recruitment and thrive in a hyper-growth customer facing environment, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.

  • As a member of the Global HR Management team -and reporting directly to the CHRO-, you are a strong partner & thought leader not only in your area of expertise but also on HR leadership in general.
  • Lead the global talent acquisition function, ensuring alignment across different markets in a matrix structure, where all recruiters report to the local Heads of HR.
  • Modernize and automate the candidate journey, creating a seamless, engaging, and efficient process using Workday Recruitment as our ATS.
  • Establish standardized processes, KPIs, and best practices to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality across all regions.
  • Oversee the recruitment of approximately 20,000 employees per year across retail, corporate, and supply chain functions and enhance our proactive talent acquisition approach through robust talent pool strategies.
  • Lead the International Recruitment Optimization Project (2025-2026), integrating advanced assessment tools like Equalture and Paradox.
  • Develop and manage a Recruitment KPI Dashboard to track performance and optimize hiring strategies.
  • Optimize our global employer branding strategy, positioning Rituals as an employer of choice.
  • Work closely with senior leadership, regional HR teams, and external partners to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Support hyper-growth expansion into new European markets and future growth in Asia.
  • Directly manage a team of 7 direct reports and approximately 30 dotted-line reports worldwide.

Qualifications

High on energy, low on ego and with a lot of humor. You’re a strong team player, adjusting naturally to changing situations and looking for opportunities to collaborate where possible. You are:

  • A seasoned talent acquisition leader with at least 10-15 years’ experience in a high-volume, multi-site recruitment environment in Europe within a (retail) customer-facing industry.
  • A game-changer with a visionary mindset, ready to innovate and elevate recruitment at Rituals.
  • A strong project manager with expertise in recruitment transformation projects.
  • An expert in recruitment automation, ATS implementation (Workday), and assessment tooling.
  • A strategic leader with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels. Hands-on & Pragmatic; you roll up your sleeves, lead by example, and bring a pragmatic approach to solving challenges.
  • Passionate about employee experience, employer branding, and data-driven recruitment.
  • Experienced in managing hyper-growth hiring in global organizations.
  • Fun, down-to-earth, and not taking life too seriously – but taking recruitment very seriously!

As part of our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, we strongly encourage candidates with international backgrounds to apply. We believe that diverse perspectives enhance creativity, innovation, and collaboration within our team.
