Job Description
To support the ongoing growth ambitions of Rituals, you as the S&OP Director, will act as the crucial link between Sales, Marketing, and Operations, driving strategic alignment and ensuring a seamless integration of demand and supply planning processes. Your role requires a deep understanding of digital planning tools, a sharp ability to distill and communicate important business decisions to the senior stakeholders including the Board, and an unwavering commitment to keeping deliverables on track in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your Accountabilities:
- Strategic alignment and collaboration to optimize demand forecasts including new product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Drive the monthly S&OP cycle, ensuring an integrated approach to demand and supply planning.
- Oversee the development of data-driven strategies that support both long-term goals and tactical needs.
- Leverage advanced digital planning tools and platforms to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Act as the trusted advisor to the leadership team on S&OP strategies and performance.
- Deliver on key metrics such as forecast accuracy.
- Proactively identify and mitigate demand & supply risks to ensure smooth operations.
- Initiate and oversee improvement projects to elevate the effectiveness of the S&OP process.
- Maintain a forward-looking approach, anticipating future challenges and opportunities.
- Manages a team of 3 managers and their team members, in total 15 FTE.
- You reside in the Netherlands and are eligible to work here.
Qualifications

- You have a minimum of 8–10 years in S&OP, Supply Chain, or related fields, with a proven track record of managing complex deliverables, preferably within a FMCG or retail organisation.
- Master in Supply Chain, Business Administration or Business Economics;
- Strategic thinker with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams and align efforts.
- You are able to get trust and confidence from senior management and stakeholders to get the job done but always with an eye for people.
- Able to define and communicate a clear vision and proven skills to get tools, processes and team organised to achieve this vision.
- Digital savvy and proficient in leveraging digital solutions (e.g. Planning systems, advanced analytics platforms) to drive performance.
- Results-Oriented: you are skilled in balancing strategic goals with day-to-day operational demands.
- You thrive under pressure, managing multiple deliverables, always staying in the driver’s seat and always seeking the next level.
