MAIN PURPOSE

As an international Travel Retail intern, you are part of the Travel Retail team and support the team with projects and day-to-day operations.

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Travel Retail department consist of New Business Development Managers, Travel Retail Managers, Account Managers and a Travel Retail coordinator. The team focusses on four channels within the Travel Retail industry: Hotels, Airlines, Duty Free, Cruises and Ferries. These commercial channels are supported from the head office. The team is mainly centralised at the head office in Amsterdam and responsible for all communication to our different partners and cross-teamwork with other departments.

We offer the opportunity to become part of this ambitious international cosmetic brand and young Travel Retail department. You will act as the ‘spider in the web’, and support with daily activities and operations. You are not afraid to take on new tasks and come up with new ideas & processes to improve the daily operations and projects of the team. 

YOUR INGREDIENTS

• HBO/WO student (preferably international study);
• You have a hands-on mentality and proactive approach;
• You have a high interest in the retail industry;
• You have excellent communication skills and enjoy making the connection;
• You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint;
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.

You are keen to be the best in class within your internship. You are flexible, you enjoy making things better every day and you value accuracy and teamwork.
