As a Senior Service & UX Designer Employee Experience, you are responsible for User Experience research, Concept Development, Interaction Design & Prototyping for our new to be developed mobile service platform. This platform is going to be used by our 1600 (assistant) store managers and 6000 employees working in our 800 stores worldwide.
The Senior Service & UX Designer is responsible for the employee experience of the end-users – (assistant) store managers and shop advisors - to support them with their daily tasks on the shop floor. In this role you positively influence the productivity, conversion, brand experience and satisfaction metrics of our employees. You are always looking for ways to improve and stay on top of the latest trends.
You are part of the digital transformation team at our Central Head Office (CHO) in Amsterdam. You work closely together with the Digital Business Owner and the Business Analyst to deliver the most optimal employee experience for our end users. You also work in close contact with our end users and with users from our head office to continue to explore and validate solutions. Next to that, you interact with several departments at our central head office, including Business Technology, the User Experience Design Team, Internal communications and HR.
You will shape the vision, strategy, design principles, journeys and concept for the mobile app. This strategy will be translated into journeys, flow charts, navigation, wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes and user stories for the backlog to create a user-friendly mobile solution. You will also create an internal service desk flow and routing to provide support. Everything you do is based on user and business needs and therefore you are also continuously validating and improving everything in close consultation with the end-users.
We are really looking for someone who is creative and sees it as a challenge to create a new mobile service platform for store managers and employees. You will be responsible from the beginning to end - strategy, UX research, concept & design – and work together with a multidisciplinary team in an international environment. Your role might evolve to Product Owner in the future.
- You have finished a Bachelor or master’s degree, preferably in interaction design
- You have at least 5 years of work experience in a similar role
- You have experience in design thinking and the lean way of working
- You are goal & task oriented, organized and work very structured
- You have experience in executing (remote) UX research
- You have experience with designing for mobile app development for multitype of users in enterprise environment is a pre
- You know how to deal with complex technical enterprise ecosystems
- You are skilled in using prototype tools (e.g. Invison) and design tools (e.g. Axure, Sketch)
- You can show us your portfolio and clearly explain how you work and the impact of your work on solving user and business problems.
