This also applies to our HR Department. Now it is time to take our HR activities to the next level to be prepared for the next growth phase.

In order to do so we are looking for you, our new Head of Human Resources, who will design, compose, improve and implement state of the art strategies, effective and efficient operations as well as unique services to our business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland during times of massive growth. Equally essential, you will guide, coach and inspire our employees on this way to the next level. Thus, you know how to cherish and perform our existing set-up while simultaneously bringing it to flourish at new dimensions. In doing so you are continuously “obsessed” with our frontline in order to create an outstanding experience for our customers and our employees.

Besides the organizational optimization (payroll, contracting, recruiting) maintaining and developing our unique and special Rituals DNA and culture throughout our organization is also one of your main purposes. This goes hand in hand with the implementation of a new leadership culture and additionally the fostering of the personal development of our HR teams and individuals as well as the professional progression of their expertise and performance. In short: you create an environment full of energy, passion, ambition, togetherness and success.

In addition to working side by side with the local lines of business in DACH, your role will be also part of the international team of HR leaders of Rituals directly reporting into our International Head of HR Management. With your multifaceted contribution to that team, we will be even more successful not only on a local but also on a global scale.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Head of Human Resources you will focus on the following essential key areas:

• Overall responsibility for the management and running of our HR department and partnering with our lines of business for the implementation of our HR strategy
• Leading, developing, empowering and inspiring the team managers and their teams to maximize performance and know-how
• Balancing short-term and long-term strategic topics in order to achieve our organization’s growth plans
• Smart and effective operations (payroll, contracting) and excellent delivery thereof performed by the teams
• Evolving the local expertise in the DACH countries and improving the regional advisory
• Implementing an effective people strategy (incl. recruiting, hiring, onboarding and talent development)
• Strengthening the performance of the talent acquisition process with a focus on digitalization
• Driving force in embedding our new leadership model while maintaining and developing our unique Rituals DNA and culture
• Designing a nourishing learning and development environment for our employees
• A modern and digital future-proof HR system and software landscape
• Being part of and contributing valuable input to the international HR management team
• Developing an extraordinary employer branding concept
• Constantly looking for and implementing future HR topics

YOUR PROFILE

• A Bachelor’s degree (or similar educational level) in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business or equivalent
• Strong professional success record as an HR leader with a minimum of 5 year’s experience
• Experience in the beauty/cosmetics, retail/consumer industry or related fields is a major asset
• Background of working in an international, matrixed and multi-site environment
• Profound know-how of employment law
• High paced, positive, „can do“ mentality with a business-driven mindset while also being approachable and caring with an genuine interest in others
• Striking experience in developing an HR department and the skills to present, communicate, influence and make the connection with our stakeholders at all levels of our organization
• Being “frontline obsessed” always striving to achieve best in class-results for our colleagues on the shop floor as well as our customers
• Desire and ability to initiate, empower, drive and hard working
• Professional fluency in both German and English
