PURPOSE OF THE JOB

You are ultimately responsible for the financial and operational management of Rituals shops and guide and mentor area/shop managers and retail coordinators within the shops. You strive the implementation of appropriate actions in order to achieve planned KPIs, margins, market share and cross profits and maintain and develop the service within the Rituals shops. You have a continuously and proactive eye for change and improvements, purpose to improve the performance of the shops and the turnover. You support the expansion plan by implementing new shops, teams, stock and activities. You recruit, onboard and develop area/shop managers and report to the country director DACH.

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES

You will lead the business from a retail perspective and translate the strategic goals into retail operational plans to achieve the required targeted growth in sales and profit. You identify and optimize promotional opportunities and spend time in shops with retail shop teams and customers to understand and identify business critical issues in order to ensure the alignment of tactics and strategies. You maintain the corporate identity in all shops and all related initiatives. You develop key initiatives to increase service and value of the retail operation and generate ideas about future retail activities. You maintain the latest knowledge of the market place, competitors and trends.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in an appropriate subject and several years experience in retail; preferably including Retail Management. Cosmetics experience is not a must but has high preference
• Analytical Skills - valuation using KPI-driven methods, sales/marketing and results orientated
• Understanding of Retail principles and levers which drive brand profit
• Required Skills - situational leadership und coaching; high solution oriented / problem solving; flexibility; ability to work under own initiative; good decision-making skills; problem solving

• Excellent English & German command; Mobility – the job entails frequent travel
