We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, working on our next generation of products.

You will be based at our Alderley Park office, which is the UK’s largest bioscience campus, and be part of our in-house software team of 10+ people.

Specific software engineer responsibilities include full stack Python development interfacing with various hardware interfaces. The ideal candidate must have experience of developing software for Linux systems, and have a low-level familiarity with some of the following communications technologies – Bluetooth (EDR & BLE), I²C, SPI and Wi-Fi.

There will be significant interactions with our staff in Lancaster and Portugal. Salary and benefits are commensurate with your role and experience.

Senior Software Engineer Core Requirements:

• Full stack Python developer
• Linux system programming
• Strong comms and networking experience, including - 
• embedded system protocols - I²C, SPI / UART
• Networking - Wi-Fi, Bluetooth EDR & BLE
• Team player with a problem-solving aptitude
