Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Product Lead to lead the development of our geospatial, secure communications, and mobility management portfolio.  As a Product Lead, you will help execute RI’s corporate strategy for the product group and work with cross-functional teams and both internal and external customers to design, develop, and field innovative services and solutions. What you will do:

Product Road-mapping. As the leader of the product line, you will work with the VP of Products, VP of Software, VP of Enterprise Systems, end customers, and internal stakeholders to plan and develop products and services.  You will provide critical input to the products team and the operations department to assess market demand, create product road maps, and develop new products for government, commercial, and direct-to-consumer markets.

Technology Integration. You will play a crucial role as we design, develop, and integrate technology into our clients' missions and workflows. You will gather requirements and translate those requirements for prioritization and execution. You will assist in the rollout of new technologies and work with applicable leads to integrate technology into our services.

User Experience Design. You will collaborate with software developers, end customers, and internal design resources to create exceptional user experiences and interfaces for our products.

Product Marketing and Market Testing. You will work with the marketing and brand team to capture product value and build product brands as we compete in new markets as a solutions provider.

Identify and Integrate Third-Party technology and infrastructure. You will identify potential vendors, technology, and integrations that will enhance our products. You will assist in the onboarding and integration third-party technology and infrastructure to meet current and emerging customer requirements.

Bid and Proposal Support. You will assist in developing content and editing processes with the capture & proposal team and client outreach & growth team.

Customer Engagements. You will participate in customer engagements, develop presentations that apply our products, services, and solutions to customer needs, and demonstrate our technology as required in pursuit of business development.

Strategic Communications. You will interpret the company's strategy, craft strategic messaging for your product line, foster collaboration among stakeholders, and ensure all team members are in sync with the short-term, mid-term, and long-term roadmaps.

What you will accomplish in your first six to nine months:
