Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Security Officer to join our team, responsible for responding to alarm calls and ensuring the safety and security of our property. The Security Officer will be in charge of surveillance of the perimeter and suite and will be responsible for responding to any alarm calls within a 15-minute timeframe. This is an armed position that requires a valid Statewide Firearms License (G), Class “B” Private Security Agency License, and Liability Insurance (1 million).

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a part-time role looking to earn extra money.

*This is a 1099 position*

Monthly Rate - $600

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to any alarm calls and ensure the alarm system functions correctly.
  • Monitor the perimeter and suite for any intrusions or suspicious activities.
  • Call back to the alarm service to confirm on-site presence before issuing an "all-clear" signal.
  • Check the office space and surrounding areas for signs of forced entry or a break-in.
  • Contact the company POC for alarm-only related events.
  • Contact the alarm company to confirm a false alarm or if police are required.
  • Meeting with corporate security personnel once a month.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Statewide Firearms License (G), Class “B” Private Security Agency License, and Liability Insurance (1 million).
  • Must be available to respond to alarm locations within 15 minutes between 8:00 pm to 6:00 am, 7 days a week.
  • Must have own transportation and phone.
  • Must be available 52 weeks out of the year, including holidays.
  • Must be able to find your coverage for vacations or days off. All certificates and licenses for coverage personnel must be on file with Ridgeline before time being covered.
