Job Description

We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to lead user experience research and user interface design on flagship features and digital products across all Ridgeline business lines. This role collaborates with product line leads, software developers, and business stakeholders to deliver best-in-class experiences for our customers. We are looking for a profoundly collaborative and experienced designer who desires to learn, innovate, and reimagine experiences across our products.


This position reports to the Director of Products and works closely with the Director of Software and the architects’ team within our scaled agile framework. As a Senior UX/UI designer, you will significantly influence the direction and vision of our products team as we expand into the new government, commercial, and consumer markets. 

This role requires a hybrid work schedule

What you will do: 

  • Design and Prototype User Interfaces. Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes for our products and solutions—Reimagine user experiences for our flagship features. 
  • Adapt Products for Consumer Markets. Work closely with product leads and software developers to adapt government and commercial products and solutions for consumer markets.
  • Test Product Usability. Collaborate with product leads, marketing, and business development teams to conduct usability and market testing. 
  • Integrate Market Feedback. Integrate market analysis, user research findings, and end-user feedback to drive product enhancements and improve user experiences. 

Qualifications

You will need to have a portfolio available to showcase your work. When you apply, your portfolio should be linked to your resume or added to your application. 

Must Haves

  • A high-quality design portfolio 
  • At least three years of professional UI/UX design experience 
  • Solid web design and mobile application design experience
  • Proficiency with interactive prototype tools such as Figma and Adobe XD
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • An iterative and agile mindset to adapt and shape design on-the-fly
  • U.S. Citizenship

Nice to Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience  
  • Experience designing user experiences and interfaces for large consumer markets (> 100,000 users)
  • Experience designing cross-platform user experiences and interfaces
  • A willingness and ability to obtain a US Government security clearance 

Additional Information

Physical Requirements:

  • Use of hands to manipulate keyboard and mouse
  • Ability to view a computer monitor in a software/system engineering context for long periods during the work day
  • Must be able to remain stationary 50% or more of the time
