Job Description

Our Technical Trainer works with key clients to facilitate technology integration into their operations through training and advising.  Our Instructors are the face of our company when interacting with our clients and driving requirements for some of our customers' most pressing problems.  

This work includes the development and delivery of technology-in-operations training, technique development, technology research and development, penetration testing, and validation via exercises.  Both generalists and specialists excel in this field. Still, a sound understanding of technology and operations within the realms of Cybersecurity, Communications, Human Intelligence, Signals Intelligence, and Electronic Warfare is desired. 

A strong candidate must have the ability to work with other subject matter experts in highly dynamic environments supporting a demanding mission.

A component of this work requires oversight of Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTP) development and Program of Instruction (POI) creation and execution.

What you will accomplish within the first six months on the job:

  • Receive training in and develop a baseline knowledge of multiple technical subjects
  • Observe the instruction of and receive mentorship from multiple skilled and experienced Subject Matter Experts
  • Become proficient in delivering training and exercises to clients and complete the Ridgeline Technical Training Certification Program
  • Demonstrate the aptitude to instruct various clients across a range of technical subjects

 

Qualifications

Must Haves:

  • Minimum SECRET security clearance required.  We will sponsor and leverage TS/SCI clearances
  • Previous experience required in operations advising, technology consulting, and technical training. 
  • Previous experience required working with the US Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and US Federal Law Enforcement clients.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience serving on technical and non-technical teams delivering technical support or instruction.
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills, including delivering verbal briefings and written reports to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to travel (10-25%) CONUS and OCONUS travel is possible

Nice to haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Technical training and certification in fields of Cybersecurity, Electronic Warfare, Human Intelligence, Signals Intelligence, Tactical Communications, Information Technology, ISR, and/or Technical Analysis
  • Operational experience in the Intelligence Community, the Department of Defense, and/or law enforcement.
  • Previous experience providing technical support to programs operating overseas
  • Previous experience coordinating with multiple organizations in a working group configuration

 

Additional Information

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office 
  • Constantly work with computers and other information technology equipment
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas in a classroom-style format, may stand at a podium for long periods of time
