Job Description

The Deputy Program Manager will manage day to day tactical operations of a complex program.  You will oversee the duties of two field service representatives implementing, operating, and maintaining technical/tactical equipment at customer sites.  This includes equipment related to commercial communications and emerging technologies. This work focuses on integrating these technologies into the customer’s mission set, and effectively operating them in tactical conditions. You will not be responsible for profit & loss or business development, but you will be accountable to interact daily with the client and oversee the implementation of all client services.  You will report directly to the Program Manager and develop ideas on how to enhance the customer experience. 

What you will do:

  • Ensure customer understanding and satisfaction with the communication system and project future uses and improvements to the customer experience.
  • Interact will all users at customer sites and task field service representatives to address customer needs.
  • Monitor project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are followed and implemented.
  • Other tasks as required.

Qualifications

Must Haves:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 10 or more years of commercial communications experience or military service with experience in tactical communications.
  • Deep understanding of software and hardware and the ability to troubleshoot technical problems on mobile and desktop devices

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
