Job Description

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will assess software quality through manual and automated testing, and you should have a keen eye for detail. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly. 


The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated team player with excellent communication skills. This position is crucial to our ongoing effort to provide a quality product to our essential clients.  We care deeply about the success of our partners and believe strongly in doing right by the client. 


What you will do:

  • Review and evaluate system specifications
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and report results
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Participating in daily scrums, sprint reviews, and sprint demos

What you will accomplish in the first six months:

  • Become familiar with a wide variety of test methods 
  • Document bugs 
  • Become familiar with a variety of test tools- Katalon, Postman, Android Studio, JMeter, etc.
  • Develop the ability to switch projects based on changing priorities in a dynamic, agile software development environment 
     

Qualifications

  • 0 – 2 years of experience in an IT field, or in a role supporting system and software engineering
  • Desire to learn Software Quality Assurance techniques
  • Desire to learn project management and QA methodology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong organizational skills

Nice-to-haves:

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
