Job Description

 

Ridgeline is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to join our team in Tysons, VA.  In this role you’ll report to Ridgeline’s Vice President of our Training and Advisory Services (TAS) group.  You’ll work to ensure that Ridgeline’s training and advisory offerings align with and compliment Ridgeline’s technology offerings.

 

What You’ll do:

  • Focus on complex enterprise technology projects that intersect with TAS activities to lend TAS’s unique perspective to support the project and to leverage these projects for deliverables that advance TAS mission. Represent TAS throughout RI at the senior and working level, as required.
  • hardware solutions for signature management challenges
  • Author white papers, RFIs and proposals on signature management topics
  • Periodically provide instruction to Ridgeline’s students, focusing on upper level courses
  • Support TAS exercises and Red Cells
  • Provide expert-level consulting support to customers with complex operational requirements (i.e. Mission Technology Solutions/advanced Technical Consultation)

 

What you’ll accomplish in the first six months:

  • Master TAS training material at the 200 and 300 level to understand requirements and mission of RI’s most advanced customers.  Demonstrate readiness to teach 300 level courses.

Qualifications

  • Minimum TS/SCI clearance, ability and willingness to obtain a polygraph
  • Previous experience required in operations advising, technology consulting, and technical training
  • Previous experience required working with the US Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and US Federal Law Enforcement clients.
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills to include delivering verbal briefings and written reports to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Sound business acumen

 

 

Desirable Education and Certifications but not required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Technical training and certification in fields of Cybersecurity, Electronic Warfare, Tactical Communications, Information Technology, ISR, and/or Technical Analysis.
  • PMP Certification
  • Previous experience providing technical support to programs operating overseas
