Job Description

Ridgeline is looking to grow our corporate finance team.  We have been recognized by Deloitte as one of the fastest-growing technology companies for 2 years. We need a project control analyst to help round out our project finance team.  The successful candidate will have a solid working knowledge of government program finance and can communicate financial concepts with multiple stakeholders.  This position will report to the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of 15-20 programs ranging in size from 15M a year to 50K a year.  You will help the company define the role of project control as we mature the record to report the process.  You will be tasked with coordination across program management, FP&A, and corporate accounting to produce monthly status reports and review plans to actual performance at the program level.  You will also be responsible for reviewing invoices monthly.

What you will do:

  • Develop and manage estimates at completion (EAC), Estimates to Completion (ETC), and review performance to each monthly
  • Provide cost analyst and scheduling support in the preparation of periodic project cost and schedule control reports, including validating and reconciling actual and incurred costs and hours, analyzing progress to date, and making recommendations as to forecasted cost and schedule projections while meeting critical deadlines
  • Effectively communicate project/program details and status updates through clear and concise written and oral reports and other communication
  • Perform project assessments and audits of project costs and schedule as directed
  • Develop monthly reports using COGNOS and other data analytics tools to report on overall program financial health to executive leadership monthly

What you will achieve in the first six months:

  • You will meet with each program manager to get an understanding of the program and baseline of the current financial performance
  • You will develop an EAC for all large programs and help ensure smaller programs deliver at or under budget
  • Along with corporate accounting, you will document and refine our record to report process to ensure PMs receive timely and accurate program financial reports

Qualifications

Must-haves:

  • Working knowledge of all government contract types Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials, Cost Plus
  • 4+ years of program control experience, preferably in a high growth environment
  • Experience working across multiple layers of a company with comfort communicating to executive teams
  • The ability to operate in a fluid environment while developing and documenting the process

Nice-to-haves:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Prior billing or accounts receivable experience
  • Bachelors degree or higher in finance or business management
