Job Description

Reporting to the VP of Revenue, the Senior Director of Sales will lead a team of Account Executives and Account Managers and have the opportunity to build out a business development function in the near future. If you aspire to be a future VP of Sales, this is the role for you!

You should have experience building a repeatable and scalable sales engine in a B2B SaaS company to deliver significant growth through various sales functions and be highly adept at training, coaching and motivating sellers. Rewind excels in the SMB space, but we are actively going upmarket. A proven history of success closing upmarket deals is key.

The Senior Director of Sales will also optimize and improve the sales process for the team. You will work to improve workflows, remove roadblocks, and promote efficiencies. You effectively use tools to track and analyze the performance of sales processes, and based on this data, identify opportunities for improvement. You are guided by a constant desire to reduce friction (big and small) in order to make the buying and selling journey as smooth, efficient and effective as possible.

In this role, you will:

  • Build a repeatable, scalable sales organization; design and implement a best-in-class, structured, sales process that leads to repeatable revenue growth
  • Build a diverse, high performing sales team with a culture of constantly achieving quota
  • Lead and inspire the sales team while measuring results and performance goals, provide on-time feedback, educate reps on best in class sales practices and developed a team of structured sellers
  • Build sales tools and processes to ensure new hires successful ramp
  • Act as executive support by jumping on discovery calls and demos to ensure there are no blockers
  • Develop and deploy upsell and cross-sell campaigns that increase customer spend and multi-platform adoption
  • Create and maintain documentation on the Sales process, policies, and assist with onboarding new Sales talent
  • Work closely with Customer Support, Partnerships, Legal and Product to ensure a consistent prospect and customer feedback loop
  • Manage the sales technology stack, renewals, usage and track return on investment
  • Work with marketing to ensure that the sales team has the necessary marketing materials and tools to grow the pipeline of opportunities and to close deals

Qualifications

Rewind excels in the SMB space, but we are actively going upmarket. We are looking for candidates that have 7-8 years of proven experience in a revenue generating sales role, with 3+ years of sales management experience (preferably within SaaS and selling to mid market and enterprise companies). You must be able to think strategically while also being in the trenches with the team.

You should also have:

  • Experience identifying and correcting inefficiencies while being process oriented
  • Proven experience with hiring high performing teams at early-stage companies 
  • Empathy and people-first leadership
  • Experience configuring, implementing, building flows, and administering Salesforce CRM
  • Knowledge and experience running RFP processes, designing compensation plans, and building territory models
  • Demonstrated experience with sales tools such as Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Salesloft/Outreach, Gong, Data tools (Zoominfo), LinkedIn or similar tools
