Job Description

Reporting to the CMO, as the Head of Content at Rewind, you will be leading the Content Team and overseeing all aspects of content creation, from strategy to distribution. Your main responsibilities will include developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our overall business goals and audience needs, managing the team's production of high-quality, engaging content in various formats, and overseeing the distribution of content across various channels. You will work closely with other marketing teams and departments, such as Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and CS, to ensure that our content aligns with our overall business strategy.
To succeed in this role, you must have a proven track record of creating successful content programs in B2B Tech organizations, and managing a team. You must also have a deep understanding of content marketing and SEO, as well as be able to analyze content performance data to adjust the content strategy as needed to improve results and meet business objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring that every piece of content has clearly defined KPIs to measure its effectiveness, and that all content production stays within budget. In short, you will be the driving force behind our content marketing efforts, working to build our brand reputation, drive prospects and customer engagement, and ultimately, contribute to reaching our marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the content strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, and identifying new opportunities for content creation
  • Build and manage the content team, ensuring high-quality content that meets business objectives is produced, provide guidance, feedback, and support to improve the team's skills and output
  • Collaborate with other marketing teams and departments, such as Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Product and Sales and CS, to ensure content aligns with the overall business strategy
  • Manage relationships with external partners, such as agencies and freelancers, who contribute to content creation and PR activities
  • Create content depending on workload and team capacity
  • Analyze content performance and adjust strategy as needed to improve results
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in content marketing, including new content formats, distribution channels, and best practices
  • Manage the content budget, working closely with the CMO and Finance to create a budget, monitor expenses, and find cost-effective solutions for content creation and distribution

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a content leadership role
  • Track record of creating successful content programs in a B2B Tech company
  • Proven experience in designing and optimizing content teams structure and processes
  • Deep understanding of content marketing and SEO, with experience in data-driven content marketing and content performance metrics
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a perfect spoken and written English
  • Strong experience in content strategy and storytelling
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and learn from failures
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in external communications and PR
  • Experience working in a newsroom or as a journalist
  • Bilingual (English/French)
