Job Description

Revecent is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) -- a fantastic sales professional who is excited to sell innovative services and solutions to senior level executives. The BDM will be responsible for hunting mid-sized and high-growth technology and professional service organizations in the DC metro (territory not limited) area using a structured sales process. The BDM will report to the President, as well as work closely with other members of the management team. The BDM will also be responsible for developing a business plan for a targeted list of accounts, pursuing inbound and cold leads, building a funnel and achieving sales revenue goals. In this role, you will:


  • Develop a pipeline of opportunities from cold and warm leads
  • Maintain high levels of prospecting activity
  • Establish credibility and build trust with prospects
  • Become an expert at presenting Revecent’s value proposition

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Generate, qualify and close sales opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Mange the entire sales process from lead generation to close
  • Build a pipeline of qualified opportunities through cold calling, networking, social selling, and events
  • Schedule and attend sales meetings to present Revecent’s services and capabilities to decision makers
  • Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts
  • Keep sales activities updated and manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce.com
  • Attend weekly sales meetings to review progress and goals
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales revenue goals

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of B2B consultative sales experience
  • Ability to follow a structured sales process and apply best practice methodologies
  • Excellent hunting and prospecting skills using a variety of methods, including, cold calling, networking, events, and social media
  • Advanced presentation skills, outgoing personality, enjoy social settings and meeting new people
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PPT).
  • Experience with Salesforce.com CRM a plus
  • BA or BS degree (An MBA is a plus)
