Job Description

We are seeking a strategic, market-focused Product Manager to drive the business across our Tenado product lines—including the innovative Tenado Metal 3D and our suite of 2D products (Metal 2D, Protect, Traffic). You will partner with existing product team members and play a pivotal role in shaping market strategy, driving revenue growth, and expanding our impact across diverse markets.

Responsibilities
 

Strategic Leadership & Product Ownership

  • Own the success and profitability of your product.
  • Develop and execute market-facing strategies to accelerate growth for Tenado product lines.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new market opportunities—determining where Tenado can win and lead.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and position Tenado as the solution of choice for our chosen markets.

Roadmap & Lifecycle Management

  • Work with product owners to define, prioritize, drive, and maintain the product roadmap and backlog to increase customer retention, usage, and new bookings
  • Lead and be personally accountable for building in the voice of the customer and user feedback throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Drive product launches with a clear product value proposition, partnering with marketing and sales on messaging, presentations, videos, white papers, and other deliverables.

Customer & Market Insights

  • Lead direct customer interviews, surveys, and win/loss analysis.
  • Synthesize insights from sales, support, direct support case feedback, and in-product analytics to inform product direction.
  • Champion the voice of the customer in all strategic decisions.

Business Management & Performance

  • Own the health of your product by tracking performance through appropriate metrics and measurables.
  • Develop and implement mitigation and growth plans based on analysis.
  • Prioritize and drive KPIs including retention, bookings growth, product utilization, new market growth, opportunity growth, and % growth driven by new ideas.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence

  • Work autonomously while collaborating closely with sales, technology, marketing, and product teams.
  • Influence and align stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and product spokesperson for your product portfolio.
  • Use creative and innovative problem-solving skills to unblock challenges

 

Qualifications

 

  • You’re a builder at heart, with a track record of launching products that customers love—and you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in product management or related roles within software/SaaS.
  • You know how to work with product marketing to define a go-to-market strategy resulting in product profitability and growth.
  • You have demonstrated curiosity or hands-on experience with AI-driven product management.
  • You have led cross-functional teams and inspired others while remaining focused on results and value creation.
  • You are a strong communicator, able to lead through influence and articulate ideas clearly.
  • You have experience working in international/cross-border teams and can manage priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to speak English and German.


Nice to have:

  • Experience in industrial software or relevant verticals (e.g., metalworking, traffic/safety engineering).
  • Familiarity with CAD or related design tools
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Figma, Confluence, MIRO, or similar.
  • Exposure to SaaS/cloud development and modernization of legacy products
