Job Description

As an Integration Software Engineer, you will work in a constantly evolving environment, due to technological advances and the strategic direction of the market-leading packaged software application you work for. As a member of the integration team you create, maintain, audit, and improve tooling as well as define the architecture, functionality, and strategic direction of Revalize’s standard integration offerings.

The focus of this position is the continued maintenance and development of the integration middleware and system specific packages that connects Revalize’s CPQ software application to other business systems – including but not limited to Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, HubSpot and NetSuite.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Ongoing development and maintenance of our GraphQL / REST APIs using Java and Spring frameworks in toolsets such as Visual Studio, Netbeans and IntelliJ
  • Develop and maintain our standard integrations offerings.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams using agile methodologies to understand requirements, design, develop, and test software solutions within deadlines
  • Use tools such as Jira, GitHub and Confluence to track and manage project progress and ensure project goals are met
  • Testing our software when necessary, as determined by our partners and as new development is completed.

Qualifications

What you will bring:

  • At least 2 years development experience with Java / Spring.
  • Practical experience with iPaaS tools such as Workato, MuleSoft, Jitterbit or Boomi.
  • Experience with enterprise data integration (ELT and ETL).
  • Experience with JSON, XML, and SOAP and REST webservices.
  • Practical experience developing software within a team environment using a source code management system such as Git, SVN or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team.

What will be an asset:

  • Experience working with GraphQL
  • Experience working with C#
  • Basic knowledge working with Ruby
  • Basic knowledge working with HTML and JavaScript
  • Experience working in Jira, GitHub and Confluence
  • A general understanding of ERP and CRM processes.
  • Orientation towards achieving long-term goals and continuous development
