Job Description

Our VP of Business Systems is responsible for leading a team of high performers to drive the implementation and management of world-class systems and to support our core business processes. You will own the transformation and ongoing management of company-wide business systems that create value for our internal teams. You will work cross-functionally across our core business areas including Sales, Finance and Accounting, Customer Support and Success and Professional Services, and you will lead those functions through integrating acquired businesses into our business systems platform. The ideal candidate loves managing a team of committed problem-solvers, is passionate about creating value through streamlined business processes and is dedicated to producing the highest quality results.  

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Business Systems team including managers, system administrators, architects, developers, and any third-party contractors to manage, maintain, upgrade, deploy and integrate all internal business applications. Drive business system improvements and streamline business operations around Revalize’s business technology stack – you are more than a “systems” person, you are empowered and expected to drive real improvements to how the business operates 

  • Program manager for complex business systems transformations, implementations, and acquisition integrations spanning all Revalize’s functions and geographies 

  • Own the overall system structure and architecture including technical expertise and integrations across the stack 

  • Respond to escalations by providing high-quality problem-solving support, advice, and guidance to internal customers while maintaining appropriate process and system governance 

  • Own reporting, status updates and KPI (key performance indicators) metrics and provide regular reporting to the executive leadership team and provide input to board-level reporting  

  • Drive world class change management practices to ensure rapid deployment of changes with no disruption to the business 

Qualifications

  • Systems expertise– multiple experiences implementing business systems is critical including defining data and data structures, integrations and managing the process to design, build, test and deploy systems, specifically with Salesforce and NetSuite or other modern SaaS business applications. Detailed understanding of NetSuite and Salesforce’s architecture and best practices for configuration 

  • Mental Agility – a keen intellect and comfort with complexity; enjoy tackling new challenges and solving problems; ability to 'think outside the box' and move concepts to implementation 

  • Detail Orientation – be thorough and organized and consistently deliver high quality work 

  • Communication - clearly communicate ideas and results to diverse business and technical audiences using the appropriate tool for the job: email, presentation, training, etc. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or other technical degree. Non-technical degrees with commensurate experience will be considered. 

  • 7+ years of experience in application support and application administration 

  • 5+ years of experience managing a team 

  • Technical expertise around ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Mgmt) platforms in terms of architecture, configuration, and performance optimization not just within a single application but also the integrations across them. 

  • Experience managing complex and integrated ERP, CRM, and CPQ (Configure Price Quote) platforms (Ideally Salesforce and NetSuite) 

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute projects cross-functionally including acquisition integrations, new module or system implementations, systems selections, and maintenance / hot fix updates 

  • Advanced skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
