Job Description
We are looking to hire a key role in our team in the context of the fast development of our investment strategy dedicated to growth and crossover investing in Europe and US-based sustainable technology companies.
The candidate will be fully responsible for all steps of the sourcing, investment and portfolio monitoring processes. She or he will play a critical role in supporting the company’s efforts in developing the crossover strategy of the fund. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an ambitious entrepreneurial project within the private equity and asset management industries.
Key contributions include but are not limited to:
Sourcing: responsible for generating dealflow and investment opportunities in selected sectors and geographies from series D+ to IPO. Nurturing high-quality and long term relationships with founders, VCs and banks
Execution of investments: market analysis, identification of and work with industry experts, financial analysis and modeling, lead meetings with companies, advisors and partners, supervision of investment memos preparation for the Investment Committee, investment thesis definition, investments structuring, negotiation of legal documentation, etc.
Portfolio monitoring: actively involved in portfolio monitoring through board representation, support on key matters (talent hires, M&A, financing, ESG, etc), exits, etc.
Participation to general corporate workflows: occasional support on fundraising and investors relations, development of Revaia team, participation to industry forums and tech-related events to improve visibility of the firm, etc.
Qualifications
Profile we are looking for:
8+ years of experience in ECM, private placement, growth-investing, hedge funds, public market portfolio management, with a focus on late-stage technology companies
Relevant network in the tech ecosystem (founders, investors, banks, etc)
Commercial acumen and capacity to win competitive deals
Excellent analytical and technical skills
Structured with strong project management and interpersonal skills
Passionate about growth equity and ECM
Energetic, hardworking, self-starter, business development mindset
Demonstrates excellent critical judgement and accurate gut feel
Autonomy and multi-tasking
A team player with the capacity to manage an international team
Full proficiency in English
