To support our ongoing growth and success, we have a fantastic career opportunity for talented procurement professionals who have 2 to 4 years’ experience in category management, sourcing, contract and or supplier management to join our Consulting team as a Procurement Consultant.

The Role:

Reporting to our Head of Procurement Consulting, you will be working across multiple projects with responsibility for:

  •      Supporting on procurement assessments and category analysis/planning
  •      Identifying tactical buying & strategic saving opportunities
  •      Supporting procurement work streams to achieve project deliverables within defined deadlines
  •       Working with stakeholders and building relationships to ensure effective project delivery
  •       Undertaking supply market research to develop category, sourcing and contract initiatives
  •       Meeting stakeholders to define procurement and sourcing project requirements
  •       Developing and or implementing category plans, tactical buying / strategic sourcing projects
  •   Undertaking contract and supplier management & continuous improvement activities
  •    Supporting on savings delivery programmes; including running pre and post sourcing/ tendering processes through to contract award
  •      Undertaking supplier/contract negotiations and driving supply chain initiatives

What we are looking for:

  •      A dynamic procurement professional with 2-4 years procurement experience in a category management and or indirect sourcing role
  • You should have indirect category experience in either: HR & Professional Services, FM, IT and or Marketing & Digital Services or a Generalist category background will be considered
  •      Comfortable working collaboratively with multi-disciplined teams and can build relationships quickly
  •       Excellent analytical skills and an attention to detail
  •    Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills
