Graphic Designer (Remote in US)

  • Full-time
  • Department: Marketing & Brand Team
  • Business Unit: Operations

Company Description

Resultant is a modern consulting firm with a radically different approach to solving problems.

We don’t solve problems for our clients. We solve problems with them.

Through outcomes driven by data analytics, technology solutions, digital transformation, and beyond, our team works with clients in both the public and private sectors to solve their most complex challenges. We start by learning as much as we can about who they are, how they work, and what they’re striving for so we can feel their problems as our own. Partnering with our clients means their desired outcomes are always top of mind, their challenges and strengths guiding our efforts. We build client-focused relationships before we build unique solutions that blaze past expectations.

Originally founded in Indianapolis as KSM Consulting in 2008, Resultant now employs more than 450 team members who operate remotely and from offices around the United States including Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and Odon, Indiana; Columbus, Ohio; Lansing, Michigan; Denver, Colorado; Dallas, Texas; and Atlanta, Georgia.

We’re Resultant. Clients partner with us to see a difference. People join us to make one.

Job Description

Resultant is hiring an in-house graphic designer with strong production chops who can blow our minds with thoughtful designs and inspired proposal design. This is a special place, and we’re looking for a special person. A curious thinker with a sharp eye and a creative mind who leaves their ego at the door and finds inspiration and joy in thoughtful collaboration.

Sound like you? Good. Keep reading.

In this role, your day-to-day would include a range of creative design work including collateral pieces, white papers, trade show materials, website and email design, and print ads. As an integral member of the sales team, you also would be creating presentations and proposal responses. It goes without saying that experience with production, traditional, and digital design is a must. Also, a large part of this role will be dedicated to preparing proposal decks, so we are looking for someone who is a PowerPoint whisperer as well as a solid graphic designer.

Still interested? Great! Let’s get to it.

Job Duties

  • Develop compelling visuals for proposals and power point slides
  • Partner with marketing to craft engaging messaging and storylines
  • Design eye-catching, on-brand templates
  • Maintain design consistency across all deliverables
  • Challenge the status quo with innovative design approaches
  • Develop supplementary design elements to enhance proposals
  • Empower colleagues through design workshops and training sessions
  • Advocate for the power of visual design to drive business success
  • Spearhead initiatives to elevate our brand and streamline design processes

Qualifications

  • A standout portfolio highlighting your expertise in traditional and digital design
  • Proven command of layout, typography, color, photography, and grid structures
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines and fast turnaround times
  • Savvy with PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD). If you know Premiere, Animate, and After Effects, that’s even better.
  • Dependability and thoroughness. You should enjoy the nitty-gritty details of design.
  • The talent to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • A passion for great content and the latest trends
  • Five years’ experience either as an in-house creative (preferred) or at an agency. Those with less than five years of experience may still be considered if the portfolio is solid and the candidate is a good fit.
  • Understanding of project management tools such as Asana. Experience working in an Agile work environment (sprint cycles) is beneficial but not essential.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

How to apply

Know your way around a slide deck? Lets see it! In lieu of a cover letter, we would like you to submit a presentation deck showing us why you are the best person for the job. Include the file or link to the deck (be sure to give us access) along with your resume and portfolio URL. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
