Job Description
To help continue our rapid growth and solve our clients’ toughest problems, we need a Senior Accounting Analyst to join the team. As a Senior Accounting Analyst you will provide support for the planning, execution, and data management of projects.
Consider your day-to-day responsibilities in this role:
- Work with business, finance and technology leadership to define, prioritize and achieve strategic objectives for projects/platforms
- Manage detailed, high-quality documentation of all aspects of solutions, including business requirements and other related documentation
- Support business requirements' activities by providing end-to-end analysis with respect to reporting data requirements, data flows, workflow context and design
- Review test cases, prepare test data, and resolve issues
- Develop troubleshooting and support documentation
- Regularly communicate status of projects to stakeholders
- Ensure business and functional requirements are met
- Monthly revenue recognition
- WIP & Deferred revenue reconciliations
- Complete applicable monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Qualifications
Some of the skills we are expecting are. . .
- Must have Netsuite experience, preferentially including administration or implementation of Netsuite system
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
- 3+ years of experience in analysis or a technical development role
- Excellent written and verbal communications, including technical writing skills
- Strong analysis and presentation skills required, including thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
- Superior research and problem-solving skills founded on analytical rigor, strategic thinking and strong business judgment
- Strong understanding of systems engineering concepts
- Ability to understand, elicit, and document functional and non-functional requirements and their impact to business objectives
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint), working knowledge of analytical software tools
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task & take initiative
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
