Teknion is adding a Data Visualization Consultant to join our Business Intelligence team. An individual in this role will be called upon to support various clients and internal projects within the company.

Consider your day-to-day responsibilities in this role 

• Communicate insights through design, development, deployment, and support of sustainable BI solutions.
• Translate business requirements into data models for ease of use in BI reporting solutions.
• Create, edit, and analyze database queries to facilitate streamlined data models for visualization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various business and technical teams in solving complex business problems.
• Understand and align with client needs and multitasking projects/quickly shift priorities to provide support.

Listed below are the desired experience and skills demonstrated by a successful candidate.

• Bachelor's degree with a quantitative focus such as computer science, engineering, or applied mathematics.
• 2+ years data visualization development experience in Tableau and/or Power BI
• 2+ year experience in SQL
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of implementing design best practices to ensure dashboard design consistency for the best user experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present comfortably and confidently in front of clients.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and track work progress.
• Interest in continuously learning new technical skills and tools.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
