Job Description

We are seeking a Google Workspace Solutions Architect specifically for our Google Practice. You will oversee the deployment team as they work with global enterprise and public sector clients and work to transition from their current email and collaboration platforms to Google Workspace using our in-house best practices and Google-recommended practices and tools.

Responsibilities:  

  • Lead small, medium and large scale deployments and migrations.
  • Run weekly calls, identify issues and resolutions, conduct technical workshops and training.
  • Configure, manage and report upon the technical procedures and progress associated with the migration of an enterprise to Google Workspace.
  • Troubleshoot configuration issues and other technical hurdles associated with the migration of data and applications to cloud based systems.
  • Identify and implement technical solutions with passion.
  • Interface with client stakeholders to align on project expectations and progress.
  • Communicate efficiently internally and externally to ensure the technical workstreams for projects are progressing.
  • Support sales efforts for engagements requiring technical subject matter expertise.
  • Respond to support ticket escalations.
  • Maintain professional communication with users on more complex issues.
  • Oversee Chrome OS and Chrome Managed Browser deployments

Expectations

  • Required Travel - 10% travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events.
  • Customer Facing - You will interact with customers on a regular basis, sometimes daily, other times weekly/bi-weekly. Common touch points occur when qualifying potential opportunities, at project kickoff, throughout the engagement as progress is communicated, and at project close. You can expect to interact with a range of customer stakeholders, including engineers, technical project managers, and executives.
  • Training - Ongoing with a 90-day onboarding schedule.
  • Certification - Google Professional Collaboration Engineer.  If not currently held, you will be expected to complete the Google Professional Collaboration Engineer Certification within the first 45 days of employment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years administering Google Workspace
  • 2+ years experience with migration tools, preferably CloudM Migrate
  • 2+ years experience implementing SSO using Google as IdP or with third party IdPs
  • 2+ years using GAM or GAMADV-XTD3
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer-related studies or the equivalent of an Associate’s degree with sufficient supplemental working experience (preferably 2 or more years in the field).
  • Client facing consulting experience in a technology environment

Useful Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience implementing high-end, specialized services with SMB and enterprise clients.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Powershelle
