Job Description

*This role will be a combination of remote work and occasional client site work in and around the Georgia area.*

To help continue our rapid growth and solve our clients’ toughest problems, Resultant is looking for a strong Business Systems Analyst to join the team. If you love to solve problems and add value, please consider what your typical day might look like:

Responsibilities include:

  • Examine current systems and produce specifications for new or modified systems
  • Define application problems by conferring with clients and evaluating system processes and procedures
  • Ability to troubleshoot core business applications, including application servers, associated hardware, databases, and endpoints
  • Liaison between other IT staff such as programmers, to triage current system or produce new system
  • Facilitates requirements gathering sessions
  • Manages high-quality documentation of all solutions, including business requirements
  • Analyzes and defines reporting data requirements, data flows, data modeling, workflows and design
  • Support the testing process by creating use cases and transforming use cases to test cases
  • Regularly communicate status of project to project management
  • Ensures business and functional requirements are met
  • At times leads ad hoc solution efforts

Qualifications

Some of the qualifications and skills we are expecting include the following:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study
  • 5+ years of experience in analysis or a technical development role
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, including technical writing skills
  • Translating customer business needs into application and operational requirements
  • Ability to present and tailor insights to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong research, problem solving, strategic thinking and business judgment skills
  • Adaptably understand, elicit, and document functional and non-functional requirements
  • Strong understanding of SQL concepts for documenting data analysis and reporting requirements
  • Experience with analytics platforms (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) to support BI Developers in documenting the requirements for dashboards and reports
  • Produce process flows and documentation (e.g. Visio, Lucidchart, Miro)
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering concepts
  • Excellent computer skills (Office Products), advanced skills in Excel are a plus
  • Practices human-centered design
  • Hands-on to get things done fast and ability to work without continual guidance
  • Attention to detail combined with creative thinking
  • Strong client service orientation
