Job Description

To help continue our rapid growth, we are searching for an Internal Communications Manager to serve on Resultant’s Engagement team. You will be responsible for correspondence between employees across various departments and the company’s management in line with Resultant’s brand voice and strategic initiatives. With such an important role, the Internal Communications Manager is of utmost value to any organization and is responsible for connecting employees with the right information, keeping our organization transparent, and employees engaged.  

As our Internal Communications Manager, you’ll help drive employee and alumni engagement through storytelling and authentic, timely communication: 

  • Understand and maintain a consistent voice and presence that aligns with Resultant’s mission, vision, and values. Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization. 
  • Create internal communications processes and guidance to drive consistent sharing of information, best practice employee communication activities, ease of service to the org, and change management support. 
  • Develop and execute the internal and executive communications plan.  
  • You will lead our proactive internal communications campaigns and initiatives that educate and engage our workforce on the company's mission and strategic priorities.  
  • Plan, edit, and produce content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as regular correspondence to employees, messaging from leadership, video scripts, online employee newsletters and intranet, and production.  
  • Support leadership and company meetings: You will help craft the messaging, strategy, and program through agenda, speaker selection, and logistics. 
  • Manage the company’s internal communications channels: Maintain the editorial calendar (blogs, newsletters, intranet etc), research and develop quotes from people, write stories, shoot videos, and contribute to the Intranet. 
  • Build, foster, and manage relationships with leaders and teams across business functions. You will work in close partnership across teams to execute communication initiatives and support change management from concept to delivery. 
  • Support the community engagement program including partnering with champions across the company to understand impact desire, coordinating execution, and sharing impact stories.  
  • Support the alumni engagement program working to build alumni advocates in key markets and drive referrals and boomerangs. 
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage projects on time and on budget and demonstrate decision-making abilities to maximize positive outcomes and build alignment. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. 
  • Minimum 5+ years in communications, employee relations, journalism. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – written and verbal. 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-detail, deadline-sensitive projects with successful delivery and minimal supervision. 
  • Exceptional collaboration and relationship building skills.
