Job Description

The fire/water restoration Warranty Manager is the primary position of coordinating, assigning, and managing the team to successfully follow the Scope of Work for one or more projects at a time.  The position is in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area. This position provides a key role in the Operations department and has a high impact on our clients.  The position will interact with the majority of construction projects we complete.   The manager is responsible for addressing warranty requests from our clients and to manage the requests through to completion.  This position offers a competitive Salary of 80K, Benefits Package. Must have clean driving and criminal records and valid Driver's License.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Project Managers, Construction Managers and VP of Construction as necessary to deliver warranty solutions to the client.
  • Communicate timely, informatively and professionally with our clients, both owners and branch personnel, throughout the warranty ticket cycle.
  • Assign and manage warranty tickets.  Assignment is both to internal subordinates and trades.
  • Manage our sub-contractors throughout the warranty repair process

Targeted Outcome:

  • Warranty repairs completed timely to the owner’s satisfaction
  • Warranty repairs completed properly the first time
  • Owner satisfaction with professional and timely communication received during the warranty process

Skills/Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of construction systems and practices
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to follow established processes and procedures
  • Ability to read and understand client and trade contracts
  • Ability to adapt to and thrive in changing work environments
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Practicing knowledge and understanding of organization’s mission, vision and values
  • Works with minimal supervision and guidance
  • Occasional travel is a component of this job, up to 25% (when required)
  • Willingness to perform other duties as assigned
  • Three plus years of field experience in the construction industry
  • Must be advocate of continual learning and development

Additional Information

Strong base up to $80K.
