Job Description

Restoration Media is looking for an exceptional, self-motivated Product Manager to help innovate and execute features on our email product to increase user engagement and drive growth. As the User Experience Product Manager you will focus on reshaping the user journey as it relates to all email campaigns, focusing on improvements to drive retention and user engagement. The User Experience Product Manager will drive product thinking from strategy to feature definition, UX design, Implementation and analytics-driven iteration. The User Experience Product Manager will work directly with email operations, engineering and design teams to create and deliver a product roadmap, partner across Restoration Media to deliver results and gain buy in from internal stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a vast knowledge of designing for conversion and will need to be a very analytical individual who can make metric-based decisions on user experience and product innovation. The User Experience Product Manager must be comfortable working cross-functionally between various teams within Restoration Media and must have excellent communication skills to bring transparency into the email product roadmap. The User Experience Product Manager needs to be a very agile individual who can work in a constantly evolving environment and understand when to shift focus based on business need. The ideal User Experience Product Manager for the email platform is passionate about testing and optimizing for percentage point increases and additionally has real-world product development experience working on consumer facing platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own all email related levels of the conversion funnel

  • Lead conversion-centered design (CCD) initiatives across the email platform to increase user retention, traffic and revenue

  • Create A/B tests to gather data in order to make effective product decisions

  • Develop creative copy for various aspects of the email product

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends; research and test new tools or practices to implement in order to achieve higher product performances company-wide

  • Own sprint planning and project prioritization

  • Own the email platform roadmap

  • Collaborate with other product managers in order to grow products and processes company-wide

  • Identify any inefficient or undesirable product behaviors and operational issues and promptly implement the best solution

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success designing for conversion

  • Highly skilled individual with a focus on project prioritization, team collaboration and cross-functional communication

  • Ability to translate strategic differentiators into innovative and product requirements and user stories

  • Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Technical fluency; can understand and discuss email and web architecture with technical team members and stakeholders, gauge complexity of a planned feature and evaluate roadmap as it relates to the overall business value

  • Demonstrated success in managing the day-to-day activities of an engineering team using Agile/Scrum processes

  • Demonstrated success managing spring cycle including planning, iterations and retrospectives

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; copyright experience preferred

Experience
  • Minimum 3 years industry experience as a Product Manager working in agile development

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline

  • Email experience is a plus
