Job Description

As a Senior Test Analyst you are responsible for ensuring the quality of Rest products & services by designing, executing, and managing comprehensive test plans and test reports. You will be responsible for identifying defects early, improving product performance, and ensuring that the final deliverables meet business and user requirements, thereby reducing risks and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Some key accountabilities: 

  • Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional aspects.
  • Collaborate & coordinate with vendors around implementation of testing activities and test phases in line with project goals and timelines
  • Effectively manage test data, review and refine test scenarios, and ensure the seamless execution of testing processes to meet quality standards using tools like Jira / Zephyr
  • Create & Update Test Reporting Dashboards, providing insights into test coverage, defect status, and overall quality metrics to stakeholders with industry standard Quality Matrices.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, working closely with developers & vendors to ensure timely resolution and conduct defect triages with the wider delivery team members as required.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the testing function and contributing towards DTD QA Roadmap
  • Plan for opportunities to develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency and repeatability of testing processes, where applicable.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to align testing activities with project goals and timelines.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in technology
  • Formal QA certification/s relevant to the role

Required experience, understanding or credentials including:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst
  • Experience in defining Enterprise Testing Strategies
  • Demonstrated experience in performing end-to-end testing in accordance with an established Software Testing Life Cycle
  • Demonstrated hands on experience in coordinating and managing UAT for big programs
  • Experience carrying out Test Planning, stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of testing principles, methods, tools and technologies, including plans, scenarios, strategies and related procedures
  • Experience designing and developing Test Plans and Test Cases with minimal Requirements and Design documents
  • Working knowledge of test automation frameworks and its implementation
  • Ability to work autonomously and act as the point of contact on projects where required
  • Industry experience within Superannuation is preferred
